Despite significant advancements in e-governance, core policymaking processes in government offices remain reliant on a digitized version of traditional file processing systems, such as the e-office system. This system mirrors the conventional approach with current files, note files, and associated manual procedures, which can be time-consuming and inefficient.
There is an urgent need to reimagine and modernize these processes by integrating advanced technologies such as AI, audio-visual cues, seamless inter-office communication, internal messaging, and flagging systems. These innovations can streamline decision-making, expedite processes, and enhance both functionality and user experience.
The goal is to develop a faster, more ergonomic, and functional system that not only improves the efficiency of governance but also transforms the experiences of both employees and petitioners, ultimately driving more effective and responsive governance.
