The Co-operative Department is currently following a manual Inspection in all co-operative societies through concerned Unit Inspectors posted at respective Assistant Registrar Office . The limitation of Manual inspection in offering real time reporting of issues and delivering current working status of societies urges the importance of implementing digital inspection in co-operative societies. To make the inspection user friendly and to authenticate the data entered on a real time basis, the department would like to switch over to a robust android application which is expected to provide unique user logins and login specific report generation. Currently 275 inspectors are tasked with inspecting 15000+ societies at the rate of 5 inspections (2 detailed + 3 routine) in a month. At this rate, the inspections will not be completed under any circumstances, which in turn affect the regulating functions of the Department. This application will bring in the following advantages to the department and also to the co-operative system in the state.
Inspections will become timely and effective.
Real time monitoring and damage control would become easy.
Inspectors can perform their duties in a better manner.
The use of ICT can be put to use in a better way.
Centralized Monitoring and decentralized system management will be put in place.
